The Iconic EX5 Makes a Graceful Exit

After 26 years as Malaysia's King of Cubs, the iconic original Honda EX5 will be making a graceful exit from the market place.

Over the past 26 years, the Honda EX5 Dream (also known by its code name C100 and C100MB) has created many business opportunities for all Boon Siew Honda's valued business partners and dealers, as well as contributing in various ways of mobility to our customers and communities from all walks of life.

However, all good things must come to an end in order to give way to the new generation of successors.

In compliance to the directive from the Malaysian Ministry of Transport, Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd is announcing that the C100 and C100MB will be officially discontinued effective 31st December 2013 to adhere to the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29) tabled under the United Nations Economic Commissions for Europe (UNECE).

Here to take its place, is the new Honda EX5 Dream 110 which was launched in July this year. The new version, called the Honda EX5 Dream 110, retains many of the classical looks of its predecessor but carries with it a host of upgraded features such as the Euro 2 Standard 110cc Engine that promises an 11% increase in performance with 53.6km/l fuel efficiency, a bigger four-litre fuel tank, wider tyres and seats and heavy-duty suspension to meet the requirements of a consumer that set demands for affordability, comfortability and durability above all else.

Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd would like to take this opportunity to thank all our business partners and dealers, the members of the media, and most importantly, our customers for their support throughout these years. We value the great relationship with all our stake holders and we hope that we can continue to count on your support in the years to come with the New Honda EX5 Dream 110.
