Despite of Panigale 1199 R Series, the Italian native manufacturer will debut outrageous machine - Ducati 1199 Panigale R Superleggera. Superleggera means a super ultra light which the term came from the Lamborghini LP series.
Panigale R Superleggera much more lighter then the R series, employing titanium and magnesium abound, carbon fiber and magnesium which resulting a weighting of 155kg dry /177kg wet. The monocoque frame is magnesium combined with forged Marchesini rims and front subframe.
With reworked 1,199 cc Superquadro power-plant, it said to burst out 220 horsepower. Done with R remarkable performance, the Superleggara enhanced with new OHLINS suspension at the front - OHLINS FL916 and OHLINS TTX36 shock complete with a titanium spring at the rear, Brembo monobloc brakes M50 and upgraded advance electronics system.
Superleggara version only have limetd numbers - only 500 units available as the Ducati Desmosedici RR. It said, Ducati gives priority to Ducatisti especially the Desmo owners and the R line to have this monstrous bike. Price? We heard that it will be selling at RM488,888.
