Honda PCX looks such as an alien in the front. It is quite attractive and they prove to do something how to convince the younger generation. Living in the hustle and bustle environment everyday, peoples consider to choose bikes as their daily transportation rather than cars.
After pickup PCX, of course I does not have to pull clutch lever anymore. After taking position on the seat, I turn on the engine using the electric starter provided. There is no friction noise, it smooth and Honda did a great job to produce something better from others.
It have ergonomics and comfortable riding position with wider seat. Powered by single cylinder 4-stroke SOHC engine. The throttle quite responsive and the acceleration really smooth which resulting from Honda latest fuel injection system. Even though it is just a scooter, PCX did not too bad in speeding. It can reach maximum speeds of 125 km/h. I feel very confident during the ride due to the chassis design, weight and aerodynamic.
This scooter using advance brake system - Combination Brake System (CBS) which balance the pressure between the front brake and rear brake. So far, for me it gives braking forces more stable and effective.
When I stopped for a few seconds waiting for the traffic light turn to green, PCX engine shut off suddenly. Despite pf the panic, I twisted the throttle then the engine turned on as normal. Since then, I began to understand about PCX will stop automatically when the engine is idle.
Honda PCX comes with variety colors, - Black Pearl and Metallic Grey for standard models and Pearl White for Deluxe model. With practical reason, it still a good bike to be used as daily vehicle, but the price is too exclusive in the local market.
