BENELLI 2015 Show-off at EICMA

Benelli BN 251: Lasting impression
In the beginning Benelli manufactured affordable small cc motorcycles for everyone to own and enjoy. Their popularity grew with people from all backgrounds experiencing for the first time the freedom and fun that comes with riding a motorcycle. Fast, nimble, lightweight and economical, the early Benellis became adored by their owners worldwide.

The BN 251 plays tribute to the same motorcycles customers enjoyed in the past, by offering a lightweight sporty 250 cc naked motorcycle at great value. Styled like its big brother range, it is the perfect entry level motorcycle, delivering excellent fuel economy, agile performance and easy to ride character.

Powering the BN 251 is a liquid cooled single cylinder, 4-stroke DOHC Benelli engine developing 24.5 hp (18 kW) at 9000 rpm and 21 Nm (2,14 kgm) @ 7000 rpm.
The steel trestle frame incorporates the engine as a stress member further adding to the rigidity of the chassis. The suspension is also over engineered with an up-side down ø 41mm front fork and on the rear swing arm, a centrally located shock absorber takes care of irregular road surfaces.

Getting on the brakes is easy with Benellis own ø 280 mm front disc with a 4 piston caliper and at the rear a ø 240 mm single disc with a double piston caliper. The 17” aluminum alloy rims finish off the sporty look and add to the impressive handling.

Benelli will offer the BN 251 in the first half of 2015 in the colours white, red and blue. Price will be advised and is expected to be very competitive.

Benelli BN 302: Passion comes standard
The new BN 302 is built with passion for riders of all kinds, from beginners to the experienced, who want to embrace smaller two wheel motoring at its purest form.

Stylish and aggressive looking, the BN 302 rewards its rider with Benelli suspension, exceptional clutch control, growling four valve DOHC inline two cylinder engine and comfortable ergonomic layout. The easy to ride character and confident braking, makes this the perfect bike for a daily commute, zipping through the city and out of town touring.

Behind the great looks is a punchy in-line two cylinder 4-stroke 4-valve DOHC Benelli engine, producing 28kW (38 hp) at 12,000 rpm and 27 Nm (2.75 kgm) at 9000 rpm. The engine is mated to a smooth 6 speed gearbox that delivers a smooth change every time.

The BN 302s inspiring agility is due to improved technology in the design of its rigid steel trestle frame and suspension setup. Up front the bike has ø 41 mm USD forks and on the rear swing arm, a lateral shock absorber soaks up the bumps with adjustable preload.

For maximum braking performance the BN 302 uses twin ø 260 mm floating discs with a 4 piston caliper brake at the front and a single ø 240 mm disc with a double piston caliper brake for the rear.
BN 302 will arrive next year in colours white, green and Benelli gold. Price to be advised soon.

BN 600 GT : intelligent sport touring
The BN 600GT is a new visionary sports-tourer suitable for all types of riders, including those contemplating touring for the first time. It is intelligently designed and offers impressive performance on every ride – whether in town or on the open road.

The BN 600GT joins the BN 600 range sharing the inline four-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine, as run in the popular BN 600R. The engine has a maximum power of 62 kW/84 hp at 11,000 rpm and maximum torque of 56,7 Nm at 8,100 rpm, matched to an optimal 6 speed transmission for touring.

Benelli’s renowned Italian styling and ingenuity has gone into the unique fairing design, upright seating position and ergonomics, with attention to detail that defines the GT amongst its peers.

The GT’s road handling is considered best in class with inspiring dynamics that are attributed to its rigid tubular steel trellis frame that incorporates the engine as a stress member. The suspension system consists of a 50mm upside-down front fork, and a rear aluminium alloy swingarm with a rear shock absorber that has adjustable rebound and spring preload.

Stopping the GT is Benelli’s cutting-edge braking system that gives maximum safety thanks to a twin floating 320mm diameter disc at the front with four-piston radial calipers and at the rear, a 260mm diameter disc with a two-piston caliper.

The fuel tank has a generous 27 L capacity, allowing the rider to enjoy longer trips before filling up. Excellent fuel efficiency also makes this motorcycle a viable alternative to the car for the everyday commute and weekend tour.

The BN 600GT is offered in white, Matt army green and black and will be available by mid-2015.

Benelli BN 600R: The latest evolution
The BN 600R recently hit the world market and gained instant acclaim as being a great value performing naked sports bike. Test rides across the world confirmed it is a true performer out on twisty roads, track rides and yet refined enough for a city commute.

Beautifully engineered and Italian designed, the BN 600R comes with premium componentry including Marzocchi ø 50 mm front forks, Sachs adjustable rear suspension, Brembo calipers, fully braided steel brake lines and Metzler Sportec M5 tyres, making it a very enviable package in its class.

The smooth power delivery of the BN 600R is contributed to optimum mapping of the 60kW Benelli designed and built 600cc inline 4 cylinder DOHC engine with a closely matched six-speed gearbox. The powertrain is mounted to a stylish and light weight trellis frame which together acts as a stressed member for the chassis, further improving its rigidity.

The BN 600R is available for 6.790 euro f.c., in black, red and Benelli gold.
