Volkswagen Group Malaysia just released their local assembled Polo Sedan to the Malaysian market. The CKD car was developed under cooperation with DRB-HICOM and seems it marks mass market with affordable price.

After first VW's CKD - Passat, the Polo Sedan will pledge to offer more affordable choices for Malaysians. Equipped with 1.6 litre engine that produces 105PS and maximum output of 153Nm at 3800 rpm, it have an extraordinary fuel efficiency. The 16-Valve Multi Point Injection (MPI) is mated with 6-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic.

From the presentation during the launching event at Setia Alam Convention Center, Polo Sedan claims to provide superior handling and braking performance - less body-roll effect, stable handling, short braking distance and bring more confidence to the driver and passenger.

For me, the exterior quite boring, but as it attached with VW emblem, everybody claims it is nice car. Actually, the looks closer with Saga BLM but with bigger size. But, for sure the quality is right there, isn't it? Not sure bout that, because I found some defects on the body paints. Suddenly I wondering how if Proton being assembled by the continental manufacturer, as I saw some quality issues of several local assemble cars.

Polo Sedan comes with 5 different colours, Candy White, Flash Red, Pepper Grey, Reflex Silver and Deep Black.

Interior? For me, it worth with the price offered. Not too boring and you still can feel the Germans quality. The price, RM85,888..maybe you have pull back your Vios booking!
