Kawasaki Ninja RR Mono

The happier side in not only Yamaha with a fresh look YZF-R125, but the Kawasaki also did some shocking attitude. It was named as Ninja RR Mono or Ninja 250 SL.  It was said, the Mono will be a replacement to the 150cc RR 2-stroke, the really fast one in Asean markets includes Malaysia.

Actually, the 2-strokes was said to be stopped for the mass production since 2 years ago, apparently, it not easy to stop it as the demand is still there. Then, the big Kawasaki would not loosing any penny until they could have a special one to replace it. But, we confirmed the 2-stroke production was stopped now, perhaps there was a little possibility 250 Mono will be presented here soon.

The design is beneficiary with the existing Ninja 250. It got a 249cc single cylinder powerplant liquid-cooled engine which used to the KLX250. Referring to sources, 250 Mono less 4 horsepower compared to the twin-parallel engine. It was predicted to be sharper as the weight thinner than the twin-parallel, and the most important, it would be cheaper. Ninja 250 Mono will be a good contender to CBR250R and the RC390.
