BMW Working On S1000F
Posted on 22:27 by cRuiSer
Before this, we are so excited to wait for the S1000R, the naked version of the BMW supersport S1000RR. Then, the coming up story is all about another 'S' variation - a tourer bike based on the S1000RR. Many sources mentioned the rumors came out after a sketch by Stefan Kraft published in Motorrad magazine.
According to the sources, tha Ducati Multistrada potential rival machine could be powered by an engine derived from S1000RR, perhaps de-tuned along with ergonomic adjustment. Then, the bike will be called as S1000F. After all, it will join up R1200GS, K1300S and F800GT.
Of course, there will be more interesting features will be offered such as Ride-by-Wire (RbW), ABS, traction control, Dynamic Damping Control (DDC) and some others improvements by the Germans. If BMW proceed the S1000F to mass production, perhaps it will introduce in 2015. And, good to have another one 4-cylinder tourer bike other than Kawasaki Versys 1000.
