Sticking to the goal of bringing the best to all the fans of two -wheel machinery in the country in 2014 , which will be a very challenging year, with the rising cost of living, rising fuel costs and challenges of living in the city or in the countryside , the KTM is always attentive and consider ways & means to fulfill the dreams and hopes of motorcycle enthusiasts in the country, has announced the latest release of the KTM 200 Duke variations without ABS or "Anti -Lock Brake".
Several successful cost-cutting measures implemented by the KTM, as well as economies of scale factors has allowed KTM Malaysia CKD to introduce this latest variant at affordable prices.
Why they come out with non ABS version? Before getting attacked by the question, the Austrian motorcycles distributor has highlighted the answer in the opening speech by Muhamad Zamry Abu Samah (General Manager - Eurotech Wheel Distribution Sdn Bhd).
The answer is;
- To give the option or choice to KTM fans.
- Without ABS - more suitable for KTM fans with a very close at heart " Racer Attitude " is not quite fond of the characteristics of KTM Duke ABS , and wants more " Thrill " in their riding style is more aggressive but without compromising in terms of the level of security for the KTM 200 Duke will also be equipped with disc brakes (Disc).
- With a combination of style as a "Street bike" ; "Super motard" and the "Naked" flamboyant, it will sure to attract more young people to have it.
- With lower costs & increase efficiency, the benefits gained by the manufacturer will be shared with the owner of the KTM 200 Duke Non-ABS version with a very economical price.
The introduction of the Duke non- ABS model will boost the dominance of KTM bike segment of 200cc engine capacity category . Users can still enjoy the style of a high-powered motorcycle rides without having to upgrade for a B “Full” license.
Many high-powered motorcycle enthusiasts will be glad with the new variant of KTM 200 Duke.
