BMW 4 Series


All-new generation of premium compact executive coupé from BMW delivers even more power, sportiness and presence.

BMW Group Malaysia unveiled the all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé – the premium automaker’s newest midsized sports coupé. Embodying the very essence of aesthetic appeal and dynamics in the premium segment, the all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé was introduced in two variants of the BMW 428i Coupé and BMW 435i Coupé.

Setting the all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé with an eight-speed sport automatic transmission in its segment promise of a powerful presence on the road, stand-out dynamic ability and driving pleasure in abundance. The “4” in its title headlines this new era for the Coupé and emphasises not only its stand-alone design, but also an even greater technical differentiation with additional driver-oriented features and functionality.

The BMW 4 Series Coupé makes an impression at first glance by embodying superior aesthetics, power, sporting appeal and presence. The new sporty and elegant compact executive coupé emphasises a paragon of balanced proportions with its deliberately sporting features and functions, expressive looks, individual character and enhanced engineering content.

The BMW 428i Coupé  comes with the Sport Line as standard, with an optional M Sport package as an upgrade for drivers who wants to bring BMW’s unique motorsport expertise and knowledge to the street. The BMW 428i Coupé Sport Line also features 18” Double-spoke light-alloy wheels with M Sport suspension and black high-gloss mirror caps. The BMW 435i Coupé on the other hand, is available with the M Sport package as standard featuring 19” BMW M Double-spoke light-alloy wheels, and an adaptive M suspension, electrical glass roof, and a comfort access system.

At the heart of the all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé is the multi-award winning BMW TwinPower Turbo technology which teams up with an eight-speed sport automatic transmission with paddle shifters as standard, as well as additional BMW EfficientDynamics features such as the new sailing function and Route-Ahead Assistant to further drive the all-new coupé towards achieving exceptional acceleration and significantly reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

The BMW 428i Coupé  houses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and delivers a maximum output of 180 kW / 245 hp with torque peaking at 350 Nm; enabling the BMW 428i Coupé  to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 5.8 seconds at a top speed of 250 km/h. Despite the impressive acceleration, average fuel economy in the EU test cycle stands at a notable 6.4 litres per 100 kilometres and C02 emissions are just 149 grams per kilometre.

The BMW 435i Coupé meanwhile, boasts 225 kW / 306 hp from a 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line petrol engine, with a peak torque of 400 Nm. The engine achieves acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h, and records fuel savings at 7.4 litres per 100 kilometres with C02 emissions of a mere 172 grams per kilometre.

The all-new BMW 4 Series Coupé also offers drivers the ability to modify the overall character of the vehicle for an exceptionally fuel-efficient style of driving by switching to the ECO PRO mode with the Driving Experience Control button featured as standard.
