Triumph 250cc Street Triple in 2014

After new Triumph Flagship Store launched at PJ recently, Triumph Malaysia (Fast Bikes) COO Razak Al Malique Hussain has given some hints regarding 250cc Street Triple will be brought to Malaysia.  The smaller displacement naked bike has been confirmed by Triumph at EICMA show in Milan.

Referring from the pictures taken, scaled down Street Triple is having single cylinder engine. It looks like Triumph is taking a firm step with smaller engine capacity with more economical factor. For sure, by the next year, 250cc market will be more competitive. KTM 200 Duke, Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Honda CBR250R and maybe the Yamaha RC25 will be sharing same market segment. Then I heard, Triumph also will introduce 250cc full fairing. Maybe, it will get Daytona's emblem, good to have more variety in 250cc segment!
